The Cardinals raced out in front against the Tigers from Pacifica to 1st quarter 21-5 lead and never looked back. They would continue to expand their lead going into halftime up 41-15. The second half was much of the same, with the Cardinals emptying their bench with all 15 players seeing game action and 10 players scoring. The Cardinals were paced by the hot shooting of starting Point Gurad JT. R. (20pts, four 3pters, 2/2FT).

In their last contest of 2016, the Cardinals found themselves in a tough physical matchup with Woodside HS. The Wildcats used their size advantage to build an early 1st quarter lead, 13-9. However the Cardinals would battle back to tie the game going into halftime. In the second half the Cardinals would continue with their balance attack and grind it out defensively to a 42-32 victory.

The Cardinals next and last preseson opponent will be Half Moon Bay HS this Friday.
